As someone lowers their body whilst doing a push up, they have to maintain their general body position. There are many body functions responsible to keep this complex structure all together and working. For example, the body wouldn’t exist without enzymes because the chemical reactions needed to keep the body simply wouldn’t occur fast enough. Another example is that if the body is unable to create enough hemoglobin, it cannot get the quantity of oxygen it needs.
The cells are the building blocks of all our body parts and they exist in many different types. Our brain consists of millions of cells called neurons. Neurons have an extremely high metabolic rate and has to have a constant supply of oxygen and glucose to survive. While different neurons have various shapes, all neurons share the exact same signaling abilities. Multipolar neurons are the most frequent type and they play a big role in the integration of information from other neurons. These different neurons have to be supplied with different proteins.
